Part Time Language Teacher, 2022-23

The Accord School is a purposely small middle school in Norwell. We are a creative, fun-loving, hard working learning community. Most staff are part-time, but because of our tiny size, every teacher makes a significant impact in the lives of individual students and on the life of the school as a whole. Our class sizes average 7-9 students. 

With the upcoming retirement of our long-time Spanish teacher, we are seeking a new team member to teach our students a language, while also collaborating with our whole team to help Accord students grow as happy, healthy learners. We are open to any world language or sign language. Teacher fit is our top priority.

We find our environment to be a great fit for teachers who have retired from or phased out of teaching in traditional schools, but still want to stay connected to teaching and make a (significant) difference for kids. 

Hours: Tuesdays & Wednesdays 11:00am-3:00pm

Dates: September 6, 2022-June 13, 2023 

Background/Experience: Teaching experience, preferably with diverse learning styles is required. While we prefer a Massachusetts teaching license, as a private school, it is not crucial. Enjoying kids is essential.
